Connectivity for residents of a building begins with construction. As of July 1, 2026, the RITEL update comes into effect through CRC Resolution 7930 of 2025, a regulation that strengthens the conditions for deploying telecommunications networks in buildings under the horizontal property regime. This implementation involves all actors in the chain: builders, certifying companies, telecommunications operators, horizontal property administrators, and surveillance and control entities. Each one plays a fundamental role in ensuring that new buildings have infrastructure that facilitates access for different operators and expands users’ options when contracting their telecommunications services.
