María José Arango Díaz
María José is a trilingual lawyer from Universidad de los Andes, with an academic concentration in Business Management and Portuguese. Her professional training is centered on Corporate, Financial, and Banking Law, with a strong ability to structure efficient legal solutions in multicultural and interdisciplinary contexts. With a particular focus on Project Finance and corporate financing, she supports legal advisory work for a first-tier client portfolio that includes multilateral and development banks, international financial institutions, private equity funds, and project developers across the region.
Since February 18, 2026, she has been part of the Banking and Financial Services team at Brigard Urrutia, where she provides comprehensive support in structuring projects and their respective financing schemes.
She previously worked as a paralegal on the Technology, Media, and Competition (TMC) team at CMS Rodríguez-Azuero, where she supported public policy and government affairs advisory work for Google Cloud Hispanoamérica, as well as legal counsel on data privacy and competition matters for clients such as Google and TikTok.
