By means of Decree 1012 of 2020, the Ministry of Finance and Credit included to Decree 1625 of 2016, the possibility of carrying out the auction, contemplated in article 840 of the Tax Statute, in a virtual way.

In this regard, the rule determined the principles that should govern the process, as well as the process for its implementation, requirements and effects of the auction hearing.

The Decree entered into force upon its publication, that is, from July 14, 2020.
