Jorge Pablo Velasco

Joined the firm in 2022.

Attorney from Universidad de los Andes, with minor degrees in Economics and Government and Public Affairs. He graduated cum laude for having a GPA that was in the top 3% of the average GPA for graduates of his faculty over the past five years. Additionally, the Colombian Ministry of Education granted him public recognition for having obtained one of the highest scores in law in the National Exam of Higher Education. He is currently pursuing a post-graduate degree in Finance at the same university.

Jorge Pablo is member of the firm’s Banking and Financial Services team and regularly advises lenders, sponsors, and project companies in project finance transactions in Colombia.

He has served as teaching assistant in the courses of Contract Law and Real Property in the undergraduate law program at Universidad de los Andes. He also has experience as a research assistant in Transactional and Commercial Law matters.

Has experience of more than three (3) years in matters of corporate, financial and commercial law.
