Daniel Salamanca Pérez
Mr. Salamanca is a lawyer with emphasis in Business Management from Universidad de los Andes, with postgraduate studies in Procedural Law from Colegio Mayor del Rosario, Corporate Law from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, and Business Law from Universidad de los Andes. He also holds a Master’s degree in International Business Law from La Sapienza University of Rome.
He brings over 10 years of professional experience across both the public and private sectors, advising on complex corporate and insolvency matters. His practice has focused on representing companies in financial distress, as well as financial creditors in corporate restructuring and insolvency proceedings.
Between 2021 and 2025, Mr. Salamanca served at the Superintendence of Companies, where he held senior leadership roles including Coordinator of Abbreviated Reorganization Proceedings, Director of Corporate Reorganization Proceedings, and Advisor to the Office of the Superintendent of Companies. He also served in an acting capacity as Coordinator of Admissions, Director of Insolvency Agreements in Execution, and Delegate Superintendent for Insolvency Proceedings.
Mr. Salamanca is a member of the Ibero-American Institute of Insolvency Law – Colombian Chapter, and has served as a professor in Corporate Insolvency and Real and Secured Transactions. His combined academic background and hands-on regulatory experience position him as a strategic advisor in high-stakes restructuring and corporate crisis scenarios.
