Andrés Felipe Parra
Senior associate for the practice of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency of the Infrastructure and Public Utilities team. He has been working for the firm since 2011, as well as other companies in the energy sector. He studied Law in Universidad de los Andes and has a post-graduate degree in Administrative Law from the U. Externado of Colombia, in addition he has finalized his studies for International Business (MBA) in EAE Business School in Madrid. He is a professional who has been recognized by his mediator and negotiating roles in high-level transactions, in addition of having general experience in administering electric-regulatory matters in the country and having a pro-project profile. He currently advises in electrical matters (generation, distribution, transmission and retail), with focus in renewable energy (solar, wind, hydrogen, biomass, among others)

- Legal-regulatory advice in the implementation of distribution schemes for electrical power in Closed Building Units.
- Legal advice, both to sponsors and financial entities, in the context of Project Finance transactions in the sector.
- Legal-regulatory advice in the analysis of regulatory proposals issued by the CREG.
- Legal advice in the constitutionality revision of administrative measures taken by the authorities in the mining-energy sector.
- Legal-regulatory advice in the implementation of tax benefits in renewable energy in projects by business groups, including the review of regulatory matters in the context of business groups and the tax equity investor.
- Legal-regulatory advice in the structuring and implementation of generation and distribution schemes for hydrogen in mobility and mass transport systems.
