Sarah Ramírez Osuna
Sarah is a bilingual Associate who joined the firm in early 2025 and is a member of the Customs and International Trade team. Her practice focuses on trade defense and regulatory matters concerning the logistics and maritime industries, advising clients engaged in complex cross-border operations.
She regularly represents clients in trade defense proceedings and advises on customs and international trade regulations, free trade zones, and free trade agreements. Her work frequently involves matters where transportation, port operations, and supply chain structures intersect with trade compliance and regulatory risk.
Sarah has participated in significant trade defense cases, including proceedings that resulted in the imposition of definitive antidumping duties on bond and photocopy paper imports. She also played a key role in securing the qualification of an important client as a user within a Free Trade Zone, contributing to the legal structuring and regulatory approval of the project.
Prior to joining the firm, she worked for two years at an importing company as in-house legal advisor for foreign trade matters, gaining practical experience in customs compliance and international logistics operations. In 2024, she also completed a summer internship at the firm, where she gained experience in foreign exchange, banking, and TMT law matters.
She holds a Law degree from Universidad del Rosario, with a concentration in Private Law. During her academic career, she was actively involved in clinical legal education as a member of the country’s first legal clinic and served as a teaching assistant.
