Maria Cristina Patrón Piñerez

Lawyer and professional in International Relations from Universidad del Rosario, with an emphasis in International Politics and Diplomacy. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Biolaw and Bioethics at the same institution.

She has experience in intellectual property, personal data protection, digital regulation, and telecommunications, as well as in providing legal advisory services to clients in the creative and entertainment industries. She has assisted artists, producers, and record labels in structuring and negotiating contracts, registering and protecting copyright and related rights, and ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations in digital environments. She has also advised technology companies on contractual and regulatory matters.

Her professional experience includes work in both the public and private sectors, including the Constitutional Court of Colombia. In April 2026, she joined the Telecommunications, Media, and Technology team at Brigard Urrutia.
