Ana María Carranza Castro

Lawyer from Universidad de La Sabana, with a Specialization in Commercial Law from the same institution, with experience in corporate law and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). She has developed her professional career entirely within law firms, advising domestic and international clients on corporate, contractual, and transactional matters.

She has experience in the structuring, drafting, and negotiation of civil and commercial agreements, as well as in providing comprehensive support to companies in complying with corporate obligations and managing legal risks associated with their day-to-day operations. She has also participated in domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, including legal due diligence processes, share and asset purchase transactions, and corporate restructuring processes.

Her experience includes advising on the incorporation and liquidation of companies, capital increases and reductions, appointment of directors and officers, and the preparation of corporate governance documents. Additionally, she has experience in drafting legal memoranda and responding to administrative and regulatory authorities.

She joined the firm in March 2026.
