Alejandro Bonfante Nuñez

Alejandro is a senior associate in the firm's Banking and Financial Services practice. He earned his Law degree and a specialization in Torts and Insurance from Universidad del Norte, as well as a specialization in Financial Law from Universidad de los Andes. He also holds an LL.M. from Cornell Law School, where he graduated as a merit scholar. Alejandro is admitted to practice law in Colombia and New York.

His practice focuses on advising local and international companies, investors, and multilateral and commercial lending institutions on financing transactions. He has particular experience in project finance, corporate finance, structured finance, and acquisition finance. He also has experience in infrastructure, private equity, and corporate matters.

Prior to joining Brigard Urrutia, Alejandro served as a Foreign Associate in the Financial Services practice at Holland & Knight LLP in Miami and as Legal and Corporate Governance Manager at CAF Asset Management, Corp. 
He joined Brigard Urrutia in 2024.
