| | | Mr. Villaroel- Barrera is a graduate of the School of Law of Universidad del Rosario and he also holds a Master in Corporate Law from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He took an intensive course in capital markets and derivatives at the Stock Exchange of Madrid. Daniel took a course on International Arbitration at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, and an international and intensive course on American and International Law at the Center for American and International Law, in Dallas, Texas. Currently he is professor of postgraduate courses in Corporate Law, at Universidad del Rosario.
As a member of the M&A practice team, Daniel has participated in a significant number of mergers and acquisitions transactions, he assists and supports local and international clients in mergers, capitalizations, investments, acquisitions and sales of Colombian and foreign companies. He has participated mainly in areas of energy, infrastructure and capital market. He has also coordinated multijurisdictional due diligence processes
