Ms. Lopez is a graduate of the School of Law of Universidad Sergio Arboleda. In 2010, she obtained her LL.M. degree in International Legal Studies with a Certificate in International Human Rights Law from Georgetown University Law Center. Her studies include a Legal English Diploma obtained in 2006 from Universidad Javeriana. She was exempted from the preparatory exams in law school due to her results in the ECAES examination nationwide. She has also gained teaching experience as teacher assistant at Universidad Javeriana in the International Public Law course.

She participates mainly in transactions involving mining and environmental affairs. As a member of the Natural Resources Environmental Law Team, she has an active participation in transactions related to the mining and the hydrocarbon industry.
