| | | Mr. Hernández-Hussein is a graduate of the School of Law of Universidad de La Sabana. He also graduated with an LL.M in International Law and International Relations from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid, Spain. Furthermore, he received scholarships from the European Commission for Education, the Vitoria-Gasteiz University of the Basque Country, the La Plata University of Argentina and the City Council of the Basque Country to carry out specialized studies in “International Law and International Relations” and for a course on “Local Development and Sustainable Tourism in Latin America”. In addition, Mr. Hernández received the International Law Certificate from Birkbeck University of London in the United Kingdom.
Mr. Hernández-Hussein joined the firm in 2009 and currently is an Associate in the Immigration Practice Group. He advises on immigration matters before governmental and consular entities which form part of the Colombian immigration processes. As co-counsel of immigrations, he represents international immigration firms such as Fragomen del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, Berry Appleman & Leiden, ProLink Global and Greenberg Turner, in all immigration processes of multinational corporations with a physical presence in Colombia.
